HiCanadian

Editorial policy

Updated October 11, 2026. HiCanadian is an independent bilingual information project about daily life in Canada.

Sources and review

We prioritise official federal, provincial, municipal and transit sources. Each published guide records source links and a review date. These first articles were drafted with AI assistance and checked against the source register by Codex; no independent professional review is claimed. An update date records our check, not the reference period of the underlying data.

Corrections and translations

Report an outdated figure or broken source through Contact, with the article URL and proposed evidence. English and French versions share the same factual basis and link to each other. Source language is indicated when useful. Unsupported amounts are omitted. Draft and sample material is excluded from publication. Editorial changes can be made directly in Gutenberg.

Operator and publication status

This is a public preview hosted on the project owner’s own VPS. Search indexing remains disabled, and operator identity, public address, privacy contact and hosting details are still to be provided before public launch. No fictitious company or address is used.
